Education in Pakistan
January 23, 2010
Pakistan is formed to provide justice and equality but unfortunately the common man is still victim of injustice and inequality in Pakistani society. People can’t find their basic human rights. There is strong class division in Pakistani society that is legacy of British rule. East India Company needs local people assistance so they create a class structure in subcontinent that is yet fallowed in Pakistan. The aim of British is to achieve their colonial interest but after division of subcontinent and death of Quaid-e- Azam the old British supporter elite gain influence slowly and now they are dominating at all areas of Pakistan. The essence and fruit of freedom can’t reach to common man and old colonial rule is in practice in different form. Order is still come from west (US replaced the UK) and local politician exploit the desire and emotions of local people.
Resembling to all other parts of Pakistani society education in Pakistan is also depicting a picture of class division in Pakistan. Education in Pakistan has three class divisions.
Education for elite
Middle class education
Islamic education
