heidi Montag Plastic Surgery

May 6, 2010

Heidi Montag wouldn’t really get plastic surgery, would she?

Okay she totally would however we still don’t know if we buy the Life & Style Weekly cover story, which claims she plans to risk her life again with another surgery.

magazine quotes Spencer Pratt as saying she wants to increase her breast size from 700 cc’s to 800 cc’s. We don’t know what that means, but sounds icky.

She wants to do it within the next two months and film it for a new show she and Spencer have been pitching to cable networks E! and Oxygen an insider says.

Even crazier?Heidi’s looking to have the surgery done in Europe and Spencer insists he’s already doing everything he can to keep her away from plastic surgery.

daunting task.

I try to stop her Spencer tells Life & Style. She wants her doctor to come over once a week to plump up her lips. I keep telling her that they’re big enough.

So what put her over the edge and allegedly drove and forced her to seek more surgeries? Spence says it was an off-the-cuff remark by Ryan Seacrest.

When Heidi entered the studio, Ryan told her that her breasts didn’t look that big Spencer said saying she misread the host’s attempt to downplay things.

She was taken aback  Spencer says. She came home in shock.

The incident confirmed the outrageous fear she’d had since her plastic surgery addiction reared its head in November: that her breasts still aren’t big enough.

Okay look. We’ve seen enough Heidi Montag pictures to tell you this from an objective, and well-informed viewpoint. Heidi we hate to inform you but Yes they are. They are hilariously huge fake boobs. Enough girl.

Why Apple snubs Flash?

May 1, 2010

Apple CEO Steve Jobs on Thursday said 200,000 applications are obtainable in his company’s mobile app store and they all advantage since they’re not built in Flash. In a post on Apple’s website Jobs listed reasons none of those apps support flash a format that supports video animatronics games and other content and is made by tech competitor Adobe. Some tech bloggers have assessed Apple for not supporting Flash on its mobile devices including the iPad, iPhone and iPod. However Jobs said Adobe Flash is a format for the past. Performance, not business strategy guides Apple’s decision not to use the format, he said. Flash was created during the PC era for PCs and mice, he wrote in the post. Flash is a successful business for Adobe, and we can understand why they want to push it beyond PCs. But the mobile era is about low power devices touch borders and open web standards all areas where Flash falls short. Adobe has protested its business could be impaired by Apple’s decision not to use the format. Jobs listed several specific reasons Apple doesn’t use Flash. Some of the more stimulating ones IPhone iPod and iPad users aren’t missing much video he wrote. Apple products run more reliably without Flash. Flash are the number one reason Macs crash. Flash isn’t made for touch-screen devices. Many Flash websites rely on rollovers, which popup menus or other elements when the mouse arrow hovers over a specific spot. Apple’s touch screens don’t use rollovers. And, most important Jobs said is that Flash slows down app development we cannot be at the mercy of a third party deciding if and when they will make our improvements available to our developers. What do you think? Is Jobs right, or should Apple support Flash on its devices?

Time Management

March 7, 2010

Time management refers to a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals.

This set encompasses a wide scope of activities, and these include planning, allocating, setting goals, delegation, analysis of time spent, monitoring, organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing

Initially time management referred to just business or work activities, but eventually the term broadened to include personal activities as well. Time management has been considered as subsets of different concepts such as

Project Management

Time Management, can be considered as a project

Management subset, and is more commonly known as project planning and project scheduling.Time Management is also been identified as one of

The core functions identified in project management

 Attention Management:

Attention management relates to the management of cognitive resources, and in particular the time that humans allocate their mind (and organizations the minds of their employees) to conduct some activities.

Time Management Skills

Personal time management skills are essential skills for effective people. People who use these techniques routinely are the highest achievers in all walks of life, from business to sport to public service. If you use these skills well, then you will be able to function exceptionally well, even under intense pressure.

At the heart of time management is an important shift in focus

Concentrate on results, not on being busy

Many people spend their days in a frenzy of activity, but achieve very little, because they’re not concentrating their effort on the things that matter the most.

The 80:20 Rule

This is neatly summed up in the Pareto Principle, or the ‘80:20 Rule’. This says that typically 80% of unfocussed effort generates only 20% of results. This means that the remaining 80% of results are achieved with only 20% of the effort.

Time Management Tools

Beating Procrastination

If you’ve found yourself putting off important tasks over and over again, you’re not alone. In fact, many people procrastinate to some degree – but some are so chronically affected by procrastination that it stops them fulfilling their potential and disrupts their careers.

The key to controlling this destructive habit is to recognize when you start procrastinating, understand why it happens (even to the best of us), and take active steps to manage your time and outcomes better.

What is Procrastination?
In a nutshell, you procrastinate when you put off things that you should be focusing on right now, usually in favor of doing something that is more enjoyable or that you’re more comfortable doing.

How to Overcome Procrastination
Follow these steps to deal with and control procrastination:

Step1: Recognize that you’re Procrastinating

Here are some useful indicators that will help you know when you’re procrastinating:

Filling your day with low priority tasks from your To Do List.

Reading e-mails several times without starting work on them or deciding what you’re going to do with them.

Sitting down to start a high-priority task, and almost immediately going off to make a cup of coffee. Leaving an item on your To Do list for a long time, even though you know it’s important.

Regularly saying “Yes” to unimportant tasks that others ask you to do, and filling your time with these instead of getting on with the important tasks already on your list.

Waiting for the “right mood” or the “right time” to tackle the important task at hand. Action Programs

Becoming Exceptionally Well Organized

To-Do Lists are great for managing a small number of tasks. The problem is that, for most of us, our To-Do List is not really a planned, focused action list. Rather, it is a sort of a catch-all for a lot of things that are unresolved and not yet translated into outcomes

Step 1. Collection

First, make a list inventory of all the things in your world that require resolution. Try to collect and write down everything – urgent or not, big or small, personal or professional – that you feel is incomplete and needs action from you to get completed.

Step 2. Pruning

Now, process the list made in step1, by looking

Carefully at each item.

Decide whether you should, actually, take action on it. A lot of what comes our way has no real relevance to us, or is really not important in the scale of things. If that is the case, then delete these things from your inventory.

Now, process the list made in step1, by looking

Carefully at each item.

Decide whether you should, actually, take action on it. A lot of what comes our way has no real relevance to us, or is really not important in the scale of things. If that is the case, then delete these things from your inventory.

Step 3. Organizing and Prioritizing

This comes in three parts.

First of all, review your inventory of items. For any which are separate, individual actions that make up part of a larger project, group these individual actions together into their projects.

Second, review these projects, and allocate a priority to them (for example, by coding them from A to F) depending on their importance. Clearly, your personal goals are exceptionally important projects

Third, insert your projects into a formatted Action Program. The Action Program is split up into three parts:

A “Next Action List,” which shows the small next actions that you will take to move your projects forward.

A “Delegated Actions List,” which shows projects and actions have delegated to other people

A “Project Catalog” that shows all of the projects you are engaged in and the small individual tasks that you have identified so far that contribute to them.

Step 4. “Working” Your Action Program

An Action Program is typically fairly long. But you don’t have to run through the entire Program every day!

Usually, you’ll only be dealing with the top page or pages. Some activities may be day-specific or time-specific. Depending of the way you work, these can be either maintained as the top page of your Action Program or marked on your calendar

To-Do Lists

Prioritized To-Do Lists are fundamentally important to efficient work. If you use To-Do Lists, you will ensure that:

You remember to carry out all necessary tasks

You tackle the most important jobs first, and do not waste time on trivial tasks.

You do not get stressed by a large number of unimportant jobs

Prioritization
Prioritization is the essential skill to make the very best use of  own efforts, and those of your team.

It is particularly important when time is limited and demands are seemingly unlimited. It helps you to spend your time wisely, freeing you and your team up from less important tasks that can be attended to later – or quietly drop.

With good prioritization (and careful management of deprioritized tasks) you can bring order to chaos, massively reduce stress, and move forwards successfully. Without it, you’ll flounder around, drowning in competing demands

Simple Prioritization

At a simple level, you can prioritize based on time constraints, on the potential profitability or benefit of the task you’re facing, or on the pressure you’re under to complete a job

Prioritization Tools
A technique that has been used in business management for a long time is the categorization of large data into groups. These groups are often marked A, B, and C—hence the name. Activities are ranked upon these general criteria:

A – Tasks that are perceived as being urgent and important.

B – Tasks that are important but not urgent.

C – Tasks that are neither urgent nor important

Paired Comparison Analysis

Paired Comparison Analysis is most useful where decision criteria are vague, subjective or inconsistent. It helps you prioritize options by asking you to compare each item on a list with all other items on the list individually. By deciding in each case which of the two is most important, you can consolidate results to get a prioritized list.

Grid Analysis:
Grid Analysis helps you prioritize a list of tasks where you need to take many different factors into consideration.

 The Action Priority Matrix:
This quick and simple diagramming technique asks you to plot the value of the task against the effort it will consume

The Urgent/Important Matrix:
Similar to the Action Priority Matrix, this technique asks you to think about whether tasks are urgent or important

The Ansoff & Boston Matrices:
These give you quick “rules of thumb” for prioritizing the opportunities open to you.
The Ansoff Matrix helps you evaluate and prioritize opportunities by risk. The Boston Matrix does a similar job, helping you prioritize opportunities based on the attractiveness of a market and your ability to take advantage of it

Pareto Analysis:
Where you’re facing a flurry of problems needing to be solved, Pareto Analysis helps you identify the most important changes to make.
Nominal Group Technique:
Nominal Group Technique is a useful technique for prioritizing issues and projects within a group, giving everyone fair input into the prioritization process.
Effective Scheduling
Scheduling is the process by which you look at the time available to you, and plan how you will use it to achieve the goals you have identified. By using a schedule properly, you can:

Understand what you can realistically achieve with your time;

Plan to make the best use of the time available;

Leave enough time for things you absolutely must do;

Preserve contingency time to handle ‘the unexpected’; and

Minimize stress by avoiding over-commitment to others

INTERVIEW WITH HASHIM AMLA
You religion is clearly important to you but just how much?
The importance of my religion has increased as I have got older. I couldn’t put a timeframe on it but I have found that following the Islamic way of life has a lot of beauty to it. Although I was born into a Muslim family I wasn’t always practicing. The more I have understood the differences in the various faiths I have adopted as much of Islam as possible. I’m certainly no saint but the discipline of the Islamic way of life has helped my cricket without a doubt. I don’t drink and I pray five times a day, which gives stability to my daily routine.
Can you tell us about your background?
I come from a small town 40 kilometers north of Durban. I played a lot of sport at primary school like cricket, soccer, tennis, table tennis. I was brought up in a predominantly Asian community but I later went to Durban High School, which had a good sporting heritage and my Dad encouraged me to go there and paid the fees for me to go. Fortunately after the first year I got a bursary as I was good at sport and got looked after.

How does technology affect society today

February 22, 2010

Today, I will be discussing a hardcore issue with you and that is influence of technology on different classes of human society? How technology over the past century has changed life style .no body can deny this fact because today if am discussing a topic with you that is due to technology. Technology has affected our life style in every way from food, education, travel, luxry, safety, weapons, health status and there is an on going list.
Now question is that which major part of the society are the all benefits of technology and what is the impact of technology on their lives. Is that the business class, working class or middle class or the lower class?

Working class or the middle class consist of the major portion of the society. If this part of the society is blooming it results in good impact on the society because it show’s the proper circulation of money in the society and majority of the people falling in this class take great benefit  from technology how ever higher class enjoys all the juice of technology.
Technology has little or no use on lower class because there is not enough circulation of money in this particular class for example a lower class person in Asia earns between one to two dollars. This amount is hard enough if he or she has to feed or support his or her family luxury life style, medical attention even the proper food is out of reach.

Technology has played a big hand in creating poverty today it is very hard to get a job these days due to economic crisis  .man power has been replaced by machines. These days work of many people can easily be done by a single machine which ultimately resulted in loss of jobs. Business man are getting all the benefit from the advancement in the technology business man are getting all the benefit from the advancement in the technology.

If robots will take over all the jobs in every sector of life that will result in chaos and major economic crisis that world is facing now. World can never rise form this chaos if proper steps are not taken in time. If these problems are not accounted on time society will face problems like huger, theft warfare and many more. Then only solution to this problem is to create a balance between the use of man power and technology to create a balance in society.

Send Free Texts

February 14, 2010

Saving money is the hardest part of living. We, unexpectedly, tend to use the money we put aside for emergency issues, and it really requires hard work when you are going to spend every single cent in texting. Now, that we are on our way to a higher stage of technology. Texting can be done in a number of ways, even without a mobile phone. There are software programs that are developed without any cost, allowing you to send free texts at any time. Let’s see what options you may have available for yourself.
Since mobile phones are getting expensive as we reach the Robotic Era, the ability to send free texts is going to be the most wonderful way to keep family ties and strengthen relationships without extra cost. Nowadays, kids are getting far more independent and costly, and to communicate with them is very important as they are just trying to cross their teenage years. This can be done by helping them learn to use the free texting tools over the internet and free text plans on their phones. It would be best to teach them how to wisely go with the high-tech flow without affecting their budget.
The best things in life comes for free, and if there are chances that you need to have your friend help you to do chores at home, sending text messages for free is really a practical way for bonding sessions. Having this opportunity, you can continue talking to them through SMS after they get home. There are so many opportunities to use free texting, from personal to business life. No matter where you are or what you’re doing, you could stay in touch with people with just a quick note.
If you don’t think you’ll ever send free texts in your everyday life, you can at least look into more affordable plans for texting. You could actually find international texting for as little as 7.5 cents a text, which means that for every text you send, no matter where it is in the world, it will only cost you 7.5 cents. When you think about local texting that may cost you ten or 20 cents per text, that is a significant savings. What you get all depends on what you need in your life, but you can bet that there is a plan out there that will suit your desires.
