Formation of larger bench

Islamabad…..larger bench has been formed in Supreme Court about the hearings of different applications against 18th amendment. Larger bench will start the hearings of these applications from 28th April. Justice Nasir ul malik will be the absolute leader of bench and the other members are Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed, Justice Jawad S Khwaja, Justice Rehmat Hussain Jaffery and Justice Tariq Pervaiz.
In an application from Advocate Nadeem Ahmed, it is said that the creation of judicial commission is against the constitution’s article number 175-A. Whereas, Eyjaz ul haq, Rawalpindi bar association, supreme court bar association and some other also argued that some of the statements of 18th amendment are against the judiciary and constitution.

Shoaib and Sania will reach Pakistan today

Lahore….Newly married couple of Shoaib and Sania will reach from Mumbai to Karachi and then to Lahore today. One of the reliable source told that, the couple has reached Mumbai from Hyderabad dakkan one day before and after one night stay they will leave for Pakistan in the afternoon of Thursday from the first available flight.
They will stay in a mall road’s five star hotel in Lahore. Reception of 25th April in Sialkot is not confirmed till today. If reception will be there then they both will reach Sialkot in 25th April’s morning.
There will be another reception on 27th of this month in Lahore. It is revealed that cards of reception will send to the President, Prime minister, Mian Shehbaz Sharif, Mian Nawaz Sharif, Governor Punjab Salman Taseer, Chairman Pakistan cricket board and to all the cricketers. Whereas, Pakistan cricket team would not be able to attend the reception due to their activities abroad.

NUML contractual faculty members form association

Contract Faculty Association (CFA) have made in National University of Modern Languages by the contractual faculty members of the university. The major figures of (CFA) are the retired military and civilian government officers.
The office-bearers of the association are mostly the military men. The association includes ten bureaucrats and eight army officers. They all are above the age of sixty and HEC do not recognize any superannuated persons association.
Objective of making such type of association by the contractual faculty members is to preserve and sustain their interests as a result of growing pressure on Higher Education Commission (HEC) and on the president of Pakistan to implement the NUML charter in letter. Awareness came after the brutal incidence of thrashing of a university professor by Brigadier ® Ranjha.
According to a source, retired military men and teachers above sixty years of age can be employed for one or two years or they can be military men. Acronym professor has added by NUML official websites before their names whereas, the proper criteria of being a professor was not fulfilled.
As a result of brutal act by Brigadier ® Ranjha, muscular protest came out by the students of the university and this led to the strong reaction by the Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Associations (FAPUASA), and later led to the forced resignation of Brigadier ® Ranjha. But (FAPUASA) has demanded strapping action against him and his dismissal.
Moreover, (FAPUASA) has further demanded exclusion of Brigadier ® Aziz Khan the rector of the university. President of (FAPUASA) Dr. Mahr Saeed Akhtar has demanded that the position of a rector should be maintained after a proper procedure of selection and advertisement through vice chancellors search committee working under HEC.
Further Mr. Yasir Arafat, general secretary of NUML Academic Staff Association, has said that according to FAPUASA byelaws CFA is illegal and appointment of some of its members was challenged in the Audit Report.

In Islamabad, chief justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry has said that Supreme Court is having the full authority to control and to check the wrong doings of the government and institutions as well. Further he said that Supreme Court is also having the authority to stop them if they are exceeding or violating their set boundaries, we are answerable before ALLAH and our nation, he said.
He was addressing the national judicial conference in Supreme Court’s building. By addressing he said judiciary’s role is not against the administration. He said parliament should rule according to the rules and regulations set by the constitution. Democratic system should include the act of check and balance, he said.
Moreover, he said some educational institutions are not providing sufficient and useful education related to law. He said judiciary should not involve in political matters and should work with sincerity and honesty. Later he asked the judges that court should finish all the hearing and cases with in short time period. He said women, old men and weak men should be preferred in hearing and finishing their cases.
Chief justice of Pakistan has said many legal things. Whatever he said, if it got implemented then many of Pakistan’s problems could be solved. Nuisance and frustration is drastically increasing in the people with the passage of time. Government should take into account the sufferings of its nation especially the sufferings of the poor people and should establish and maintain a democratic form of government.

UN Commission’s Report regarding murder of Benazir Bhutto

New York…UN’s report claimed that Musharaf `s government was responsible for Benazir`s murder. Moreover, the government was failed in providing her safety and security and was also unsuccessful in investigating the reasons of her murder. Besides doing any investigation, government and intelligence agencies had tried a lot to put obstacles and hurdles in way of making report.
It was claimed the murder includes the influence of al-qaeda, Taliban and great planning funding from big networks. Accumulation of different evidences can easily be collected but no efforts were made for investigation purposes. After her murder the government’s press conference was also of no use.
In New York head of UN`s investigating commission Dr. Heraldo Moniz has said that Musharraf`s government didn’t provide proper and sufficient security to Ms. Bhutto. Whereas, security and safety measures of people’s party was also not so good. Just due to this lack of sanctuary and protection the murder took place.
It is said in report that her murder could be stopped; Maj. Imtiyaz who was responsible for giving her security did not done his job properly. Commission had to face a lot of difficulties in finding facts of the murder. It was said in report that government’s claims at that time were very strange, government has said that Bait-ul-llah mahsood was responsible for that incident.
It was said in report that there was no such agreement of power sharing between Ms. Bhutto and Pervaiz Musharraf. Many people were made a part of investigation process and report has revealed that she died because of bomb blast by a suicide attacker of fifteen years and commission didn’t receive any evidences of shooting. This all was happened due to non sufficient security. 250 people were investigated for inquiry purposes by the investigators of United Nation’s commission.

Pakistan’s Foreign office’s claims

Islamabad…Pakistan has said there is no connection between the Mumbai attacks and the progressive situation of Pakistan-India `s negotiations. We handed over the road map for diplomatic and peaceful negotiations.
Foreign office’s spokesman, Abdul Basit has said in weekly briefing that both the prime ministers of Pakistan and India had met with good wills in Washington. Whereas we can not say anything on the meeting of both the prime ministers in SAARC`s conference in Bhutan. Moreover, he told that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani will officially visit France and Spain from 19th to 22nd of this month and will also participate in pak-eu`s conference.
After international atomic conference relations between Pakistan and America will strengthen, he said. Further, he told that we are investigating the arrested Taliban’s leaders and we will soon reach on some better results.
According to all these statements we can assume that Pakistan is interested to strengthen and to boost up its relations with the super power of America and due to this Pakistan will also participate in international atomic conference.
Whereas, Pakistan is also eager to maintain and preserve its relations with its neighboring country India and due to this negotiations are going on for the aim of achieving peace and stability in the region. Further the expected trips of the prime minister revealed that Pakistan wants to maintain its relations with the peaceful countries as well.

Current situation of protests in Pakistan

In reaction of the new name of N.W.F.P lot of people protested, which created foremost tribulations for the nationals of the country. Most of the brutal protests came out in the regions of Abotabad and Mansehra and these protests lasted for several days. Now, the situation is comparatively better than it was before but evils of these protests do not ended completely, still problems are going on.
Many shops and markets are still closed which is impacting badly on both the producers and consumers. Many roads and streets are still blocked and will remain for some more days. Police is having full authority to control these protestants and problem creating people and we can easily judge the control and power of police by the incident of 12th April when many people were injured and some were died as a result of firing and shelling by police.
In some communicating areas of Mansehra, protestants have blocked the Mansehra road with different obstacles. Extremist people are still creating a number of problems for the people on roads as well. On other hand young generation is also suffering a lot. Many educational institutes will remain closed till 15th April. Working people in offices are also facing troubles to reach their offices.
Certain measures are taking place to keep law and order in the region. One of the leaders of Hazara Sardar Heidar Zaman has asked the people to remain peaceful and to keep law and order in the province. Moreover, he said all the radical people who are involved in making unrest in the regions are actually not the friends of these areas; their acts are so extreme that they are continually threatening the peace situation of the regions. Changing of DIG Hazara and DCO Abotabad is one of the major aftermaths of these problems.
Action committee of Hazara has announced that they are ending the strike and will not create further unrest in the region. May be, after their this announcement situation got improved and better and people’s suffering got decreased.

Brutal protests against Khyber Pakhtun Kha

Against the name of Khyber pakhtun kha, desecrated and sullied protests came out in Abbottabad and due to which police had to intervene and a result of police firing five people killed and along with the former deputy speaker of national assembly Mohammad Yaqoob more then hundred got injured. Protests against the changed name of N.W.F.P are becoming more violent and severe.
Extremist Protestants attacked cant and mirpoor police stations and burnt a lot of vehicles along with two of the police. Emergency was called in D.H.Q. Protests also broke out in other areas of country as well i.e. mansehra, Haripoor, Hawelyan etc. In various areas of Abbottabad problems were seen between the protestants and police. Police did shelling to overcome and handle the situation. Protestants surrounded the police station of cantt area and set it on fire. They asked for the dismissal of Hazara`s commissioner and D.I.G. Moreover, they asked for the dismissal of abbottabad`s D.P.O and D.C.O. Muree road and shahr-e-kashmir remain blocked for many hours. Protestants blocked many other roads as well and due to which local people had to face different major problems. Patients remained for long on roads and were not able to reach the hospitals.
Police did lot of firing and as a result of which people got much violated and frustrated. Due to police’s direct firing 5 people killed and more then hundred people got injured along with the former deputy speaker of national assembly, these injured people are not in fine position.
As a result of these problems students protested at Garhi habib-ullah. In all these regions, situation was and still it is so terrible and dreadful. People faced a lot of problems in doing their daily routine’s activities. Police is ready and was ordered to control these protestants. Police can use any mean to tackle the situation. Whatever is going on in these regions, innocent people of Pakistan are suffering due to this alarming situation. People that are involved in doing this unrest in the country should think for a while that what they are actually doing? Is all there these doings are going in favor of the reputation of their country or against their country? Questions are many but nobody is having the answer.

Long lasting load shedding in Pakistan

As a result of this rigorous problem of load shedding, large number of people of Lahore came out on roads and streets for protest. They said problems and troubles are increasing instead of decreasing day by day, local and poor people are suffering a lot. In response to these protests, federal minister of water and electricity Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has reduced two hours load shedding duration from the daily routine of load shedding but many cities of the country are still in ruthless dilemma of load shedding and short fall is 4600 mega watt.
Munir Ahmed Khan of Wapda has told the news channels that after the protests in Lahore, federal minister of water and electricity has reached national power control centre in Islamabad and he announced that he will themselves monitor the load shedding problem of all the cities.
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf had negotiated with officials of petroleum, World Bank and with oil companies and has reduced load shedding in Lahore from 11 hours to 09 hours whereas, in the remaining areas of the country load shedding problem is still the same.
D.G PEPCO Mohammed Khalid has said that till 15th April, along with the Jabco and Cott addoo many other non functional power plants would soon produce one thousand mega watt electricity and with the establishment of new power plants in June and July the short fall will decrease to 2 mega watts and with the help of which setback of load shedding will reduce.
In the capital city of Islamabad along with Rawalpindi the load shedding`s duration is from 04-06 hours and in Karachi its duration is from 05-06 hours. In other interior cities of Sindh problem of load shedding is tranquil the same. In many parts of Punjab load shedding`s duration is from 10-12 hours daily and in rural areas of Punjab this duration is of 16 hours.
In urban areas of Faislabad load shedding is a common feature for about 08 hours and sometimes more then that whereas, in rural areas this problem is for about more than 10 hours daily. In Balochistan, along with the city of Quetta in many other areas duration of load shedding is of about 08 hours and for rural areas this problem is for about 18 hours. For people of Peshawar this duration is of about 12-14 hours.
Due to this ruthless and intense quandary of load shedding everyone is suffering a lot mainly the poor and lower class people because they are having not that much resource to afford the alternatives like generators or u.p.s. Moreover, the working class and merchants are all suffering from number of major tribulations so, people are getting frustrated and annoying. People’s point of view is this when we are paying a lot in form of electricity bills, then why we are not been provided with enough electricity facility.

sania mirza Marriage with shoab malik

As we know about the main hurdle of Sania-Shoaib`s marriage that is of Siddiqui family. Now, the problem seems to be solved when in a press conference Ayesha`s family claimed that finally we got justice for our daughter and Shoaib gave divorce to Ayesha. Her mother along with the important personalities of her family while addressing a press conference has said Ayesha`s wish was to gain divorce without any demands and hassle and now we all family members are so happy that we got justice exactly according to the wishes of our daughter and we are ready to take back F.I.R and other charges against Shoaib.

Moreover, one of the important personality of their family; Major Qaadri has said that we all were very tensed from this situation and we were working from five days to find out the accurate solution of this issue, we had never slept for many hours, issue was going on wrong side instead of being solved. We were having pressure of our family to reach some appropriate solution. Issue has been solved with tranquility and harmony. Another participant of the press conference from Ayesha`s side has said that with the intervention of the family members finally we got some valid solution and Ayesha got divorce.
Ayesha`s lawyer in Pakistan; Farooq Hassan has said the victim of the issue has finally got justice. Ayesha Siddiqui said that now after getting divorce I am getting free and out of tension, I will now start my life in new way and I will concentrate on my health and family.
But, the controversial point is this that this claim of divorce has came just from Siddiqui family and their lawyer. Whereas, Shoaib and his lawyer has still said nothing about this new news from Siddiqui family.
On the other hand marriage’s proceedings are going well in Sania`s home. Shoaib`s family members including his mother, brother, two sister, nephew and niece has reached Hyderabad Dakkan via PIA`s flight. Both the families are so happy and busy with full pace in celebrating the marriage of their beloved.
Everybody is having different stance towards this marriage. For example, due to this marriage Indian chocolate company has finished its contract with Sania. Pakistan’s former cricket player Mohsin Hassan Khan showed his good wishes with Shoaib and Sania. He said marriage is so sacred relationship, both of they are going to do marriage not something wrong then no need to make this marriage an issue. My prayers are with Shoaib and Sania.
