Ricky Gervais

January 22, 2010

Ricky Gervais is adamant that Hollywood’s best leading lights don’t object it at the time he jokes about them for the reason that they are even now standing in line to act in the company of him.

The British humorous man who performed in the latest Golden Globe Awards in the role of a host, wherein he poked fun at Paul McCartney as well as Mel Gibson – maintains he even now possesses A-Listers planning to exist on one of his cabarets.

“Every time I go to an awards show, like the Globes, I always call my colleague Steve and go, ‘Ah, you wouldn’t believe who wants to be in Extras, and we’re not doing it anymore.’ But I still think we won’t return to it, to be honest,” articulated by the pin-up.

48 years old, Ricky Gervais, has in the past asserted that in spite of discovering reputation in Hollywood he in spite of everything deems himself a stand-up.

“I still think of myself as a comedian acting, as opposed to an actor,” Ricky stated. “And I think a comedian has to let the world know that he doesn’t take himself seriously. As soon as a comedian starts to care about the way he looks, he ceases to be funny. You’ve got to be the underdog.”

“All my favorite people like Laurel and Hardy, I love them because they’re precarious; they fall over for your amusement. It’s that long line of comedians, like Bob Hope and Woody Allen. He knows his lot is bad, and we laugh with him. He’s angry and surrounded by idiots.”
“At the end of the day, they’re still the loser you like. So… I forgot the question! Why do I say I’m a fat loser? Because I am.”
